About G.S. Residential School
G.S. Residential School is a day-cum-residential, co-educational institution located on Malwar Road, near Toll Plaza, Sasaram, District Rohtas, Bihar. The school is named in honor of Late Guru Charan Singh, whose values and vision continue to inspire the institution.The school is managed by a trust established in the name of his son, Late Lalan Prasad Singh. The trust aims to promote quality education and create opportunities for young learners to grow academically, morally, and physically.The founder members of the trust are the sons of Late Lalan Prasad Singh — Mr. Brajesh Kumar Singh and Mr. Mithlesh Kumar Singh, who are committed to carrying forward the family’s vision of providing modern and quality education to society.The school follows the CBSE curriculum and focuses on holistic development by integrating academic excellence with moral values, discipline, and co-curricular activities. Along with strong academics, the institution provides opportunities for sports and physical development so that students can build confidence, leadership skills, and a healthy lifestyle.

SCHOOL

Primary Section

From 8:am to 1:00pm Timing is liable to change according to the change in Season. The Primary section consists of three classes, Nursery and L.K.G. It is open for the children above age 3 years. The duration of Nursery and L.K.G classes is of one year each unless the child is substandard, retarded or physically challenged. If the progress of the child is unsatisfactory, he / she is supposed to be detained in the same class to repeat.

CREATIVE

Middle Section (6thto 9th )

The subjects English, Hindi, Sanskrit / Urdu, Maths, Social Studies, History, Civics, Geography, General Science, General Knowledge, Computer, Drawing and craft are taught. Sanskrit / Urdu is regarded as the third language. Education is imparted through audio-visual aids .

Admission Procedure

Eligibility

Admission Process (After Filling Admission Form)
After submitting the offline admission form, the following steps may be conducted by the school:
Submission of Admission Form
Parents submit the filled admission form along with required documents at the school office.
Written Entrance Examination
The student has to appear in a written entrance test conducted by the school to assess the student’s academic level.
Result / Merit Decision
The school evaluates the test and decides whether the student is eligible for admission.
Document Verification
If the student qualifies, the school verifies all documents such as Birth Certificate, Aadhaar Card, Transfer Certificate, and Marksheet.
Payment of Admission Fee
Parents deposit the admission fee and other charges at the school office.
Admission Confirmation
After completing all formalities, the student’s admission is confirmed and the student is enrolled in the class.

Students should come to school at least 5 /10 minutes before the bell is rung for assembly. Late comers are not allowed to enter the school.
Any kind of damage to the school property is to be made good by the school.
Every student is urged to contribute to the discipline and high standard of the school by his manners and conduct.
